MICHAEL SCOTT

Born in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Michael lived in Yorkshire from 1956 to 1965. Until 1968, he studied Political Science in Liverpool and moved to Glasgow in 1969 with full-time research at Glasgow University's Department of Politics. In 1971, Michael took a lecturing post at Glasgow Caledonian University, first in Politics and later in Sociology and Philosophy.

Michael trained under John Boyd and did life classes at the Glasgow School of Art over a period of fifteen years, continuing to lecture in the department of social Sciences until 1996. He is now a full-time artist.
